Congratulations to these amazing young women who just graduated from Norfolk Christian Schools in Norfolk, VA. A few weeks ago we decided to do a BFF session in a field of buttercups. Though the weather threatened and dark clouds loomed during our very early Sunday morning session, the pictures turned out fantastic.
This is not just any group high school seniors (at least they were seniors before Saturday). One of them is my daughter and the rest are her friends. Kerri started school at Norfolk Christian Schools this year as a senior…not the easiest thing to do. Kerri wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but I can say with certainty that the friends she found at NCS surpassed all her expectations.
These girls are as kind as they are beautiful, as smart as they are kind, and are athletic, too. They are fun and joyful, and they are quick to talk about deep and meaningful things.
“Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art…. It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things which give value to survival.” C.S. Lewis, The Four Loves
