For a solid week before Hayley and Javi’s Virginia Beach Sandbridge wedding, every weather channel in Hampton Roads predicted rain, rain, and more rain all day for their wedding day. The morning of the wedding didn’t look very promising, but slowly and surely the weather cleared, and not only did we have no rain, we even saw the sun for a few minutes.
Everything about Hayley and Javi’s day was perfect. Hayley was a stunning bride; her accessories were perfect compliments to her dress, and her bridal party was full of joy, fun, and beauty. Javi was a handsome groom with a fun wedding party of family and friends. I loved every minute of my time with them!
Hayley and Javi’s ceremony was a simple beach wedding. Hayley’s cousin, Andrea, did a wonderful job as mistress of ceremonies; the wedding day actually ran ahead of schedule! After the ceremony, guests enjoyed delicious appetizers provided by Catering Concepts while we took family, wedding party, and romantic pictures.
After pictures and wedding party introductions, Hayley and Javi shared their first dance and then a delicious dinner of beef tenderloin and macadamia-encrusted tilapia was served. The evening continued with dancing, toasts, cake cutting and a game of Thunderstruck.
Special thanks to Andrea Wallis, my wedding stylist, and Amy Bare, my second shooter, for your skill, passion, artistry, and love for people. I love every opportunity I have to work with you!
